Life Cycles

Did you know it takes only 2 months for a dog or cat to have puppies or kittens?

It only takes 30 days for a rabbit to have babies.

         

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Approximately 2 weeks before puppies or kittens are born, their bones  become hardened, or calcified.  They can be seen on a radiograph, which is taken using an x-ray machine.  Can you see the head and spine of the kittens?
